Okay, our title is clickbait as we do not actually believe the hype that YouTube has gone stale. There is a ton of great content on YouTube, ahem, like on our channel, for example.
But Ryan has definitely upped the game. I found Ryan a couple months back and immediately saw the potential. His random Air B’n’B videos as well as the penny challenges were unique and interesting, and his personality made the content so enjoyable to watch. The wholesomeness of both him and his videos is a much needed respite from the events of today. I remember just before this latest challenge commenting that he may want to consider a travel show, because he is a complete natural.
And then this happened. His latest penny challenge series. And BAM, this kid is taking off. In this challenge he starts in California and has 30 days to get across the Country, to Mr. Beast, off a penny.
Currently he is on day 22 and in Austin, Texas. And I can’t begin to explain how everyone watching absolutely loves the “wake up routine” of watching this series every morning; I included.
Watching his sub count climb more and more every day, I am not surprised in the least. Seeing the Feeding America donations hit nearly one million, also not surprised. The talent here is amazing and the hard work is evident. If you haven’t caught the series, or you think it isn’t “your thing”, give it a shot anyway, every sub during the series helps feed a family.
I, like everyone else in comments, is dreading the end of this series but I firmly believe this is just the start to the next stage of Ryan’s career. To the Moon, Ryan!
